In a separate law enforcement action also conducted in the province of Córdoba, a four-month drug investigation resulted in the dismantling of a narcotics distribution ring. The operation targeted a drug-selling point disguised as a candy kiosk located in a high-pedestrian-traffic area of the city, culminating in three arrests and the seizure of cocaine concealed inside candy wrappers.
