Since December 2023, coinciding with the start of Javier Milei's administration, the minimum bus fare in the province of Buenos Aires has increased at a rate six times higher than inflation.

This rise is part of a broader process of price adjustments and tariff normalization initiated by the government for public transportation services within the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA).
