Arrested at the port with more than 170,000 psychotropic drugs hidden in a vehicle bound for Morocco

The Spanish Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal organization responsible for defrauding companies of more than 220,000 euros. The group utilized a method known as Business Email Compromise (BEC), which involves intercepting professional email communications to alter bank account details and divert funds to accounts controlled by the perpetrators.

In a separate operation on July 30, authorities at the Port of Almería arrested an individual for an alleged crime against public health. During a vehicle inspection, the Civil Guard discovered 172,718 psychotropic pills hidden within a false compartment. The suspect was reportedly attempting to transport the prescription medication to Morocco at the time of the intervention.
