19 young people arrested for committing robberies and thefts against bathers on beaches in Palma and Calvià

Law enforcement agencies, consisting of the National Police and the Local Police of Palma, have dismantled a criminal group specializing in thefts and robberies targeting beachgoers across the beaches of Palma and Calvià. A joint operation conducted on Monday resulted in the arrest of 19 young individuals.

During the intervention, authorities recovered 42 mobile phones that had been stolen from victims on the beaches of the capital and Calvià. The coordinated police action highlights ongoing efforts to curb property crimes affecting tourists and local residents in these coastal areas.
