Five young men with far-right ties arrested in Asturias for assaulting a trans woman: they threatened to kill her

The Spanish Civil Guard has arrested five men, aged 18 to 20, in connection with an assault on a transgender woman in Piedras Blancas, Asturias. The incident, which occurred in January, involved both physical and verbal aggression directed at the victim due to her gender identity.

Authorities have linked the suspects to extremist groups. The investigation into the attack, which included death threats against the victim, remains ongoing following the arrests in the municipality of Castrillón.
