Arrests made for attempting to reconnect power at Onix Tower 19 and 20

Five individuals were detained for questioning following an alleged attempt to illegally reconnect electricity to several apartments at the Torre Onix 19 and 20, located on Avenida Lope de Vega in the National District. The operation was reported by the utility company Edesur Dominicana, which stated that the suspects were caught in the act of performing unauthorized reconnections.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the extent of the unauthorized activity. The detention follows efforts by the utility provider to address irregularities in the building's energy service.
