Arrests made for attempting to reconnect power at Onix Tower 19 and 20

Five individuals were detained for investigation following an incident at the Torre Onix 19 and 20 residential complex, located on Avenida Lope de Vega in the National District. Authorities were alerted after the individuals were allegedly caught attempting to reconnect electrical service to several apartments in an irregular manner.

The operation was reported by Edesur Dominicana, the local utility provider, which identified the activity as an unauthorized attempt to restore power. The detainees remain under investigation as officials look into the circumstances surrounding the attempted reconnection of the building's electrical supply.
