Detienen en Mexicali a “El Canelo”, presunto generador de violencia ligado a “Los Rusos”

Authorities arrested Luis Felipe de Jesús Cortés Escobedo, also known as “El Canelo” or “El Rojo,” during a joint security operation in the border region of Baja California.

The suspect is identified by authorities as a suspected mid-level commander and generator of violence linked to the criminal faction known as “Los Rusos.”

The arrest took place at Kilómetro 57, a community located on the border area between Mexicali and San Luis.
