Dieren leven weer op na regen, maar stuiten door droogte op voedseltekort

Following a prolonged period of drought in the Netherlands, recent heavy rainfall has provided relief to the local ecosystem. Species such as insects and snails have begun to show signs of recovery as the environment becomes saturated once again.

Despite the return of precipitation, the drought has had lasting consequences for local wildlife. Many animals did not survive the dry conditions, and those that did are now facing significant challenges due to a resulting shortage of food resources.
