Diez meses de prisión para una 'influencer' marroquí por "ultraje público al pudor"

Moroccan influencer Soukaina Janah was sentenced to ten months in prison and fined 500 dirhams (approximately 45 euros) by a court in Rabat. The conviction follows a charge of "public outrage against decency," a legal provision used to penalize behavior deemed contrary to public moral standards in Morocco.

The ruling, which is final, was issued by the Court of First Instance this past Monday. The case highlights the ongoing legal scrutiny applied to social media figures in the country regarding their online conduct and public image.
