Cuban diplomats in the Dominican Republic begin to leave their embassy

Diplomatic personnel from the Cuban embassy in the Dominican Republic began leaving their facility on Saturday. Located in the El Millón sector of Santo Domingo, staff members were seen removing their belongings and utensils in order to depart the country.

The departure comes in the wake of an order issued by the Dominican government requiring nine members of the Cuban diplomatic mission and their affiliates to withdraw from the nation.
