Members of Parliament accumulate streaks of absences without any control

During the legislative session that concluded on July 26, members of the Chamber of Deputies in the Dominican Republic recorded frequent absences from legislative sessions. In several instances, these absences formed extended, consecutive streaks that were documented with formal excuses.
