Police Chief pushes for police reform in Congress

On Wednesday, the Director General of the National Police, Major General Ernesto Rafael Rodríguez García, held a meeting in Santo Domingo with the presidents of the Senate, Ricardo de los Santos, and the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco. The purpose of the meeting was to push for the approval of a pending police reform currently before Congress.

During the encounter, the police director emphasized the critical importance of advancing the legislative initiative aimed at reforming the national police force.
