Police Chief outlines his position on his chain of command

The new director general of the Dominican Republic's National Police, Major General Rafael Ernesto Rodríguez García, officially outlined his leadership approach on Monday. He stated that he will manage the institution in strict accordance with the national Constitution and the organization's organic law.

In addition to his commitment to legal frameworks, the director general called for public cooperation. He emphasized the necessity of fostering a relationship of mutual respect between police officers and the citizens they serve.
