Police Chief outlines his position on his chain of command

The new director general of the Dominican Republic's National Police, Major General Rafael Ernesto Rodríguez García, publicly outlined his administrative approach on Monday. He stated that his leadership of the institution will be strictly governed by the national Constitution and the police force's organic law.

In addition to establishing his legal framework, Rodríguez García appealed for public cooperation. He emphasized the necessity of fostering a relationship of mutual respect between police officers and the citizens they serve.
