They will distribute 10.3 million food rations in schools

The National Union of School Food Suppliers (Unsae) and the National Institute for Student Welfare (Inabie) have announced a plan to distribute 10.3 million food rations throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This initiative aims to provide consistent nutritional support to students within the national school system.

The program establishes a unit cost of RD$93.73 per lunch. This partnership between the regulatory body and the supplier union serves to formalize the logistics and financial structure for the upcoming academic cycle.
