Late country music star Dolly Parton reportedly loved New Zealand so much during her three tours of the country that she seriously considered purchasing property there.

The only factor that prevented Parton from buying a home in New Zealand was the logistical challenge of the lengthy, twenty-plus-hour commute required to travel back and forth from her home.
