Dominican Republic achieved a double gold medal in 3x3 basketball at the Central American and Caribbean Games

The Dominican Republic achieved a golden double in the 3x3 basketball tournament at the 25th Central American and Caribbean Games, held at the Malecón Deportivo on the 30 de Mayo highway. Both the men's and women's national teams secured the gold medals.

This performance represents a significant competitive improvement for the country in the regional discipline. Four years prior at the games in El Salvador, Dominican teams in both divisions had finished with bronze medals.
