Dominicano de a pie

For decades, development discussions in the Dominican Republic have predominantly focused on economic logic and institutional metrics, such as gross domestic product growth, foreign investment, exports, tax pressure, and large public works.

While these macroeconomic factors have been fundamental to the country's progress, reaching a certain level of development prompts a shift in perspective toward how these advancements impact the everyday citizen, known locally as the "dominicano de a pie."
