Dominicans face extradition charges in the United States

The executive branch of the Dominican Republic has authorized the extradition of two Dominican nationals, Fidel Antonio Knight Cerda and Mario Elvin Jáquez, to the United States. The individuals are sought by U.S. authorities to face various judicial proceedings.

The authorization is formalized through presidential decrees numbered 541-26 and 542-26, enabling the legal transfer of the two citizens to face pending charges in the United States.
