Two beluga whales and four dolphins rescued from Canada arrive at the Oceanogràfic in Valencia after a complex transfer

Two beluga whales and four dolphins have arrived at the Oceanogràfic de València following a complex international transfer from the Marineland park in Canada. The animals were transported to Spain in the early hours of August 27 to ensure their continued care and well-being.

The relocation follows the closure of the Canadian facility over a year ago. The transfer was specifically coordinated to provide a new environment for the marine mammals and prevent the necessity of euthanasia.
