Grand Canyon flooding: Over a dozen possibly missing, water pipeline knocked out

A major flash flood tore through the Grand Canyon, prompting the evacuation of dozens of people and triggering an urgent search for dozens of possibly missing tourists. According to the National Park Service, the floodwaters swept large boulders, metal structures, and other debris into the Colorado River.

In response to the emergency, rescue teams and helicopters were deployed to the area, successfully airlifting 60 stranded tourists to safety. Additionally, the disaster knocked out a vital water pipeline within the park.
