Driver boxed in and window smashed after allegedly fleeing police in South Auckland

A 30-year-old man in South Auckland faces court charges after allegedly fleeing police. Authorities reportedly found the suspect slumped over the wheel of a parked vehicle.

Following the incident, law enforcement boxed in the vehicle and smashed its window. Subsequent testing revealed the driver was nearly three times over the legal alcohol limit.
