Russian air defenses shoot down 40 drones and attack factories and logistics center in kyiv

Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 40 Ukrainian drones across six regions of Russia and the annexed Crimean Peninsula, according to official statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense on September 24.

Simultaneously, coordinated Ukrainian drone strikes successfully targeted and struck infrastructure within Russia, specifically hitting an oil refinery in the Rostov region and an industrial enterprise in Krasnodar in the southern part of the country. According to local officials, falling debris from intercepted drones also contributed to damage at the Rostov facility.
