Economists from four think tanks in Guatemala have warned that the proposed state budget for 2027 will reach 192,000 million quetzales.

According to the analysts, this spending plan will elevate state expenditure to 17.1 percent of Guatemala's gross domestic product, representing the highest level projected for the country.
