Ecuador envía a 179 deportistas para Suramericanos, con Yépez y Hurtado como abanderados

Ecuador has dispatched a contingent of 179 athletes to represent the country at the upcoming South American Games in Santa Fe, Argentina. The delegation was formally sent off during a ceremony held on Tuesday in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

The regional multi-sport competition is scheduled to begin on September 12. Among the prominent figures leading the Ecuadorian delegation are wrestler Lucía 'la Tigra' Yépez and athlete Hurtado, who have been designated as the country's flag bearers for the event.
