Ecuador reporta siete incendios forestales activos en cinco provincias

On August 11, Ecuador's National Secretariat for Risk Management (SNGR) reported that seven active forest fires were burning across five of the country's twenty-four provinces. In addition to the active blazes, authorities confirmed that four other forest fires had been successfully brought under control.

Among the affected areas, one of the active fires was specifically identified in the locality of Calacalí, situated within the Andean province. The ongoing situation highlights the seasonal vulnerability of multiple regions in Ecuador to forest fires, prompting continuous monitoring by national disaster management authorities.
