The United States celebrated the “concrete results” of the negotiations in Venezuela to advance towards a democratic transition

On Thursday, the United States endorsed the concrete results of the third round of political dialogue in Venezuela, highlighting progress toward a democratic transition. Washington pointed to specific agreements reached during the negotiations, which include the review of regulations regarding political disqualifications.

Additionally, the U.S. noted that more than 1,000 political prisoners have been released in connection with the ongoing negotiation process.
