The U.S. will deliver two King Air aircraft to Peru, provide $20 million for F-16s, and strengthen its cooperation with the Peruvian National Police (PNP) and the FBI.

United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Lima between September 9 and 10, resulting in new bilateral security commitments between the United States and Peru. During the visit, it was announced that the U.S. will provide Peru with two King Air aircraft and allocate 20 million dollars for F-16 fighter jets.

In addition to the military hardware and funding, the agreements involve strengthening institutional cooperation between American and Peruvian law enforcement agencies, specifically enhancing collaboration with the National Police of Peru (PNP) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
