The US will expand social media review for granting other visas

The United States Department of State is expanding its screening of applicants' social media accounts to include new types of visas as part of its foreign applicant evaluation process.

According to an internal memo obtained by the Daily Signal and reported by regional media, the measure incorporates additional visa categories into the ongoing background checks.
