United States Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Frank Garcia traveled to Ethiopia as part of an African tour, holding meetings with government ministers.

During the visit, the discussions focused on advancing regional peace within the Horn of Africa and supporting the economic reforms currently being implemented by the Ethiopian government.
