The US will sell nearly fifty F35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia for more than 21.1 billion euros

The United States government has formally notified Congress of its intention to authorize the sale of up to 48 F-35 Lightning II fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. The proposed transaction is valued at approximately 24.3 billion dollars, equivalent to over 21.1 billion euros.

This notification marks the initial step in the official procurement process. The sale remains subject to final approval by the United States Congress before the agreement can be finalized.
