Egypt’s El-Sisi rejects displacement of Palestinians, vows continued efforts on Gaza deal

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Cairo on Wednesday to discuss regional developments. During the talks, El-Sisi reiterated Egypt's firm rejection of the displacement of Palestinians.

In addition to addressing the displacement issue, the Egyptian president pledged to continue working alongside mediators to implement an agreement aimed at ending the ongoing war in Gaza. Meanwhile, the developments coincided with statements from Israel's defense minister expressing a pledge to remove Palestinians from the besieged Strip.
