Home purchases resumed their decline in July with a 5% drop, the sixth this year

In July, the housing market in Spain experienced a 5.1% year-on-year decline in sales, totaling 61,417 transactions. This decrease marks the sixth month of contraction in the sector during the current year, according to data released by the National Statistics Institute.

The downturn reflects a persistent cooling trend in the real estate market throughout the year. The data highlights a continued struggle to maintain transaction volumes compared to previous periods.
