According to a recent study, 95 percent of Spanish families who have immunized their children against the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) report feeling more at ease regarding the infection. The findings follow three seasons after the implementation of national immunization plans across Spain.

In a separate development, Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella has publicly supported the United States government's recent decision to revoke the travel permits of two Colombian citizens.
