Argentine tennis player Francisco Comesaña was eliminated in the second round of the ATP 250 tournament in Winston-Salem. He lost in straight sets to German player Daniel Altmaier.

The match served as Comesaña's final competitive test ahead of the upcoming U.S. Open.
