The Spanish warship that Morocco has received marks the resumption of the relationship between Navantia and Rabat that began in the 1980s.

The Spanish state-owned shipbuilding company Navantia has officially delivered the high-altitude patrol vessel Moulay Hassan I to the Moroccan Royal Navy. The handover ceremony took place at the San Fernando shipyard in Cádiz, Spain, following the formal signing of the delivery documentation.
