The Queens' path to the Olympic Games goes through the World Championships and the rankings

The Dominican Republic women's national volleyball team, known as the Reinas del Caribe, failed to secure an Olympic qualification spot during their recent appearance at the Palacio del Voleibol. Despite missing this immediate opportunity, the team showed improved performance following a previous setback at the Norceca tournament.

Moving forward, the team must rely on their performance in the upcoming World Championship and their international ranking to qualify for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The squad is now focused on these remaining two pathways to secure their participation.
