The Queens' path to the Olympic Games goes through the World Championships and the rankings

The Dominican Republic's women's volleyball team, known as the "Reinas del Caribe," departed the Palacio del Voleibol on Saturday without securing an immediate Olympic berth for the Los Angeles 2028 Games. The team missed direct qualification following a setback at the Norceca tournament.

Despite failing to secure the direct ticket, the squad reportedly recovered positive on-court sensations. Team members and staff acknowledge that they must now rely on the World Championship and the world ranking system as the remaining two pathways to qualify for the upcoming Olympic Games.
