Colombian Gustavo Puerta is set to sign for a major English club, but will instead go on loan to the club where James Rodríguez previously played.

Colombian footballer Gustavo Puerta is set to be signed by English club Nottingham Forest on a contract running until 2030, according to transfer developments on August 31 during the final hours of the transfer window.

However, rather than immediately joining the English team, Puerta will be sent on loan to Greek club Olympiacos, a side previously represented by fellow Colombian player James Rodríguez.
