The Civil Guard's DAO confirms to Judge Pedraz that Marlaska called him after the leak of Begoña Gómez's email in a UCO report

The Director of Operations (DAO) of the Civil Guard, Manuel Llamas, has confirmed to Judge Santiago Pedraz of the National Court that Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska contacted him via telephone following the leak of an email involving Begoña Gómez. The communication was submitted in writing as part of the ongoing judicial investigation into the 'Leire Díez' case, which concerns the unauthorized disclosure of information contained in a UCO report.

The confirmation establishes that the Minister reached out to the high-ranking official immediately following the public dissemination of the document. The judicial inquiry remains focused on the circumstances surrounding the leak and the subsequent interactions between the Ministry of the Interior and the Civil Guard leadership.
