Diesel falls to 1.773 euros per liter, dropping below the price of gasoline for the first time since March

As of Wednesday, the average price of diesel in Spanish gas stations has fallen to 1.773 euros per liter, marking the first time since March 4 that it has cost less than 95-octane gasoline, which is priced at 1.774 euros per liter. This shift represents a marginal difference of one-thousandth of a euro.

The price adjustment ends a months-long period where diesel had remained more expensive than gasoline. The change in the price hierarchy reflects current market fluctuations in fuel costs across Spain.
