El ébola deja ya más de 2.000 muertos y 4.300 casos en República Democrática del Congo

Authorities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), according to a Tuesday report by the Institute of Public Health, have elevated the death toll from the country's worst-ever recorded Ebola outbreak to 2,011 fatalities.

Alongside the rising death toll, confirmed cases of the virus have reached 4,381. The data also notes a fatality rate fluctuating between 60 and 70 percent for the current epidemic.
