Teenage pregnancy in Cuba remained at its highest level in the last five years.

According to a report published on Monday by the Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas e Información (ONEI), the rate of adolescent pregnancy in Cuba remained at its highest level in the past five years. Specifically, the data highlights the demographic of the youngest girls, aged 10 to 14 years old.

The report indicates that the rate for this specific youngest cohort fluctuated between 1.3 per 100 girls in 2021 and 1.4 per 100 girls in 2025.
