An abandoned German Shepherd named Atlas was rescued after waiting for two weeks by the side of a road in Argentina. The dog remained on the roadside during this period, approaching every vehicle that slowed down to inspect the bodywork and windows before returning to the verge.

The rescue was ultimately carried out by a woman who managed to save the dog from its prolonged abandonment.
