The Empire State Building lights up for the Dominican parade

On Sunday, the iconic Empire State Building in New York City was illuminated in the red, blue, and white colors of the Dominican flag. The lighting marked the culmination of the 44th annual National Dominican Day Parade.

The celebratory event drew thousands of Dominican participants, locally referred to as quisqueyanos, who gathered along the parade route to commemorate their heritage and community milestone.
