El Feco reconnects with fans as new music opens doors

After time away from the spotlight, El Feco is finding that his new releases are reaching both longtime supporters and listeners discovering him for the first time. The two songs show different sides of the artiste. Love Seems Far Away, recorded with Apache Indian and Kvon, has drawn attention through its message, while Her Boyfriend’s Back takes a playful, theatrical approach to storytelling.

El Feco said he would need to compare the current figures before declaring either song the stronger performer. “After being away for as long as I was, it’s been surprising to reconnect with the audience I built years ago while introducing myself to a new demographic beyond that base,” he said. “I’m reaching both while staying true to my message.” The renewed activity is opening up possible collaborations.

Veteran dancehall artiste Mr Peppa is confirmed for an upcoming project, although they have yet to record together. El Feco is also planning an EP with viral voice-over artiste, songwriter and performer Ital tha Ruffian, aiming to complete it sometime in 2027. Discussions about another project with Apache Indian are ongoing.

Love Seems Far Away was entered through The Orchard for consideration for the 69th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Meanwhile, production of the Her Boyfriend’s Back video is on hold. El Feco’s album Out On My Grind is also awaiting a confirmed release date.

He describes it as a reflection of his long journey in music, bringing together the different sides of his sound and story. He is developing another song, Infidel, which takes a darker, more introspective direction. A short teaser is complete, but the song remains a work in progress.

For the rest of 2026, El Feco hopes to finish Out On My Grind, grow the audience for his releases and turn that momentum into lasting opportunities for Fewe Music Group.
