To prevent unauthorized movement into the mainland and the broader Schengen zone, authorities emphasized the use of a double-filter security system. This mechanism is designed to monitor and restrict the transit of individuals who have crossed the border, ensuring that those who entered Ceuta irregularly do not exit the city toward the European territory.
