The Spanish government has announced an extraordinary allocation of 30 million euros to support the care of unaccompanied migrant minors in Ceuta. This funding follows a significant surge in arrivals last week, which resulted in approximately 1,000 minors currently being hosted by the Autonomous City. To accommodate the influx, authorities are repurposing two educational facilities as temporary shelters. The initiative is led by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration to address the immediate humanitarian needs created by the recent mass entry of migrants.
