The Government appoints David de la Encina as the new delegate in Ceuta, following the resignation of Pérez Triano

The Spanish government has appointed David de la Encina, the former socialist mayor of El Puerto de Santa María in Cádiz, as the new government delegate in Ceuta. The announcement was made on Tuesday by the Minister of Territorial Policy.

De la Encina succeeds Miguel Ángel Pérez Triano, who resigned from the position on Monday. Pérez Triano's resignation and the subsequent appointment come two months following a mass entry of migrants into the autonomous city.
